Instructional Delivery
Student teacher/candidate, through knowledge of content, pedagogy and skill in delivering instruction, engages students in learning by using a variety of instructional strategies.
I included pictures from my activity on the Phoenicians and papyrus paper. I included this because it shows that I used a variety of instructional strategies to teach the students about the Phoenicians. We read from the textbook, looked at maps, participated in activities and read secondary sources to discover more information. On my website I also have the webquest they completed on the Phoenicians. The activity pictured below was a model of how the Phoenicians made papyrus paper. The students really enjoyed the activity and were able to write on the paper once it dried. I enriched the activity by have the students write their names using the Phoenician alphabet on the papyrus paper.
